Research Visibility: Making the Most of Symplectic, Scopus and ORCiD (In Person) In-Person

Research visibility is how easily others can find and access your work and increasing this visibility is key to ensuring that you and wider society get maximum value from your high-quality research.

Actively promoting your research is generally good academic practice and can improve your potential academic impact, including boosting citations, increasing engagement, generating real-world influence and ensuring you get credit for all your hard work.

During this session, you will hear about how to use Symplectic and Scopus effectively and why linking your ORCiD to these systems/databases is a key foundational activity to begin your research visibility journey. We will also discuss what else you can do to boost your research visibility and potential academic impact once the foundations are in place. As well as hearing from the presenters, there is also time built into the session for questions and practical, hands-on support so make sure you bring your laptop!
