Podcasting: Copyright, Sourcing Material and Open Education In-Person

This workshop is part of our podcasting series: don't forget to check out other sessions here.

Each session begins with an optional 30-minute introduction covering the core skills of podcasting, so is suitable for all regardless of skill or experience.)

In this 1.5 hour workshop you will learn how to navigate copyright, source audio clips and music while respecting intellectual property rights, and understand the ethical considerations of using, commenting on, reusing and repurposing others' work in your podcasts.

At the end of the series, you will have access to a Minerva site where materials and outputs from all five sessions will remain available.

This workshop contributes to your digital capabilities development in the areas of digital creation, problem solving and innovation; digital communication, collaboration and participation, and information, data and media literacy.

To find out more about developing your digital capabilities through workshops and self-directed activities, visit the library website if you are a student, and the OD&PL website for staff.
