Research Profile Bootcamp: Podcasting as a Research Visibility Tool Online

A session for staff and PGRs to hear more about podcasting and how it can be used to promote your research. You will hear from different presenters who will provide tips and principles for producing a good podcast, examples of podcasts and the impact they have had as well as information about facilities and equipment available to you on campus.

Antonio Martinez-Arboleda 

Professor of Open and Digital Education

Antonio is based in the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies. His areas of expertise include open educational resources, student podcasting, critical digital pedagogies, Artificial Intelligence, Spanish language and politics as well as poetry and translation. 

Antonio is the Knowledge Equity Network (KEN) Senior Lead, the University’s Academic Lead for Open Educational Practice and the University’s Co-Director of the Centre for Research in Digital Education.

 

Kersti Mitchell  

External Communications and Campaigns Manager

Kersti is an External Communications and Campaigns Manager at the University and is responsible for all media relations activity for the Faculty of Environment. Prior to this, she was a reporter and producer at the BBC and has worked in newspapers, radio and television. 18 months ago she created the University’s research-based podcast “How to fix…”
