Research Profile Bootcamp: Using Bibliometric Databases for Those without a Scopus Profile (In Person) In-Person

A session for staff and PGRs who do not have a Scopus profile to find out more about bibliometric databases and how they can be used to increase your research visibility and track your academic impact. There will also be opportunity to explore the databases yourself and put into practice what you have learnt during the session.

Please bring a laptop or another portable electronic device with you to participate in the practical aspects of this session.

 

Speaker Bios

Eve Spencer

Research Information Coordinator  

Eve has worked across the library sector since 2017, with experience in both public and academic libraries. In 2020, she joined the University of Leeds as a Repository Assistant and transitioned into her current role as a Research Information Coordinator within the Research Services team in 2023. In this role, she leads efforts to update and maintain the organisational structure within SciVal and Scopus, as well as providing bibliometric reports and research visibility guidance for faculties, schools and individual researchers.

 

Jen Dunhill 

Research Services Advisor 

Jen has worked at the University of Leeds for 7 years, supporting researchers within the School of Earth & Environment and more broadly as part of the Research Services team in the library, leading support in the area of Research Visibility. Beyond this, she provides support to staff and postgraduate researchers (PGRs) with ORCiD identifiers, literature searching, reference management and research analytics.
