Ruth loves nothing more than engaging with her researcher community to help them fulfil their career aspirations. Often, LinkedIn plays a major role in their success by attracting and maximising opportunities through their outstanding profiles, enhancing their visibility and building thriving networks. 

In her role as Careers with Research Consultant at the University of Leeds, Ruth brings more than two decades at the forefront of innovation in the careers industry, an international perspective, and unwavering enthusiasm for all things careers.  

Ruth is one of only 50 certified social media career strategists globally. Every year, she recertifies as a Digital Branding Strategist to stay ahead of the latest social media trends and developments.  

Ruth is a Fellow of the Career Development Institute, a member of R14, the researcher development network, and a contributor to the US based Career Thought Leaders’ Council for the Future of Work.
