Using Artificial Intelligence for Literature Reviews Online

Artificial intelligence tools can provide useful assistance with the literature review process. They can save you time and increase your understanding of your field of research. However, it is important to evaluate the accuracy of what is being produced by these tools, to ensure you're accessing a broad range of research, and that you are using them ethically.

This practical workshop is held in collaboration with the Research Support Team, and is open to students and researchers.

During this online session, you will:

  • Find out more about AI tools for literature mapping
  • Finding relevant papers to get an overview of a topic
  • Summarising papers
  • Supporting the development of database search strategies
  • Developing critical awareness of AI tools and ethical considerations in their use

This workshop contributes to your digital capabilities development related to the use of artificial intelligence in the areas of information, data and media literacy, proficiency and productivity and digital creation, problem solving and innovation.
