Introduction to programming with Python In-Person

In this workshop for beginners, you will be learning how to get started with coding in Python, including:

  • Using online and desktop development environments for Python;
  • Understanding the components of the Python language and what they mean;
  • Walking through code examples that show how to build an automatic poetry generator;
  • Adapting code to build your own text generation tool.

This workshop contributes to your digital capabilities development in the areas of proficiency and productivity and digital creation, innovation and problem solving.
