Developing Your Vocabulary in English In-Person
In this workshop, we will consider common word errors in academic writing, what you need to know to use words precisely in your own work, and how to continue to develop your academic vocabulary effectively. Referring to a workshop booklet, we will work both as a class and in small groups, and there will also be an opportunity to look at your work, so if possible, please bring a past or current assignment to the session. This workshop will be particularly useful if English in not your first language or if you are studying in English for the first time. |
