Research Visibility: Drop-in Clinic for PGRs Online

This 1 hour online question and answer session is designed to follow on from the video resource entitled ‘Increasing Your Research Visibility (PGRs)’: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWrH6BzBGDw

The video resource is a broad overview of what research visibility means and ways in which you as researchers can increase the visibility of your research before, during and after it has taken place. The video resource can be watched at any time before the session and will remain available, so you can re-visit it and learn at your own pace.

If you watch the video resource and want to ask any follow-up questions, please book a place on this drop-in clinic, which will be heavily led by participant questions and will contain more in-depth discussions than time would permit in a traditional workshop.

By the end of the video, participants will better understand:

  • Why Research Visibility is important
  • What can be done before, during and after research to improve research visibility
  • Research identifiers and how to use them proactively
  • Bibliographic databases and how they can be used
  • The principles of Open Research including Open Access publishing
  • Ways to disseminate research

By the end of this drop-in clinic, you will:

  • Have the chance to ask follow-on and more specific questions relating to the video resource
  • Listen to the questions and answers of other participants
  • Be part of more in-depth discussions
