Analysing Sources in Scopus and Web of Science: An Introduction to Research Metrics Online
This 1 hour online question and answer session is designed to follow on from the video resource entitled: Analysing sources using Scopus and Web of Science (link below). The video resource gives you the opportunity to explore two curated data sources, Scopus and Web of Science, to identify what they index. You will learn about some of the more well-known research metrics, such as Field-Weighted Citation Impact and Journal Impact Factor, and about the University of Leeds commitment to Responsible Metrics in the Assessment of Research. The video resource can watched at any time before the session and will remain available, so you can re-visit it and learn at your own pace.
If you watch the video resource and want to ask any follow-up questions, please book a place on this question and answer session, which will be heavily led by participant questions and will contain more in-depth discussions than time would permit in a traditional workshop.
