Towards Reproducible Biomedical Research In-Person
Reproducibility is the foundation of credible, impactful research — yet it remains one of the most pressing challenges in biomedical science. This training session will equip biomedical researchers with essential strategies and practical tools to improve reproducibility in day-to-day work (no coding skills required).
Participants will gain a clear understanding of what reproducibility means, why it matters, and how to embed it into everyday research practices. From file organisation and tidy data to robust protocols and documentation, the session will cover every step in the research process with reproducibility in mind.
Whether you’re a lab-based scientist or a dry-lab researcher working with large biomedical datasets, this session is designed to help you future-proof your research and foster better, more reliable science.
This workshop was developed in collaboration with the UK Reproducibility Network (UKRN).
Speaker: Michal Zulcinski
Intended audience: This course is suitable for everyone, but primarily any researcher, research student or professional services staff in the Faculty of Biological Sciences and Faculty of Medicine and Health who would like to upskill in reproducible research practices.
